We have all seen them. Lime green traffic cones around Buffalo, NY. Usually with caution tape around them, encircling a light pole or other street side object. But why?

Surviving a background check just got tougher. And it's soon going to get harder still, as Internet search technology grows more sophisticated: Employers have started scouring the web—social networking sites in particular—to check up on potential hires.
If you've ever posted anything that suggests you might be somebody who likes a racist joke, drinks too much booze or maybe is a bit too fond of guns—these all can be grounds for an employer telling you, "Thanks, but no."

I am deeply saddened to see the riots in Vancouver after the game 7 loss by the Vancouver Canucks to the Boston Bruins on June 15th 2011. Though I have my suspicions that only about 20 to 30 people were actively responsible for a majority of the destruction, I also do think that some of the blame lies with the 'innocent bystanders'.
Sure the Black Bloc is likely responsible for much of the chaos. This looks very similar to their work in Toronto during the G20 riots (notice they were never caught there either).
